The Pipe Cleaner Christmas Tree is a cute and simple Christmas craft and decoration to make with the kids.
My kids have put them in their bedrooms, adding to the excitement with the build up to Christmas.
What you will need?
You will need two green pipe cleaners cut into four different lengths, 2 long, 1 medium and 1 small. You will also need an assortment of coloured hollow beads for threading and some Christmas play dough.
Let’s Play
To make the tree frame we placed 1 long pipe cleaner for the trunk pressed into a large into the Christmas Play Dough. We then twisted and folded another long pipe cleaner around the bottom end of the trunk, followed by the medium in the centre and the smaller length towards the top of the trunk.
Let’s Create
Time to decorate the tree!! Miss 4 and 5 threaded the beads over the pipe cleaner branches creating patterns and colourful decorations. They placed their favourite colour bead on top in place for the star or angel.
