Spot Rooby Roo the Kangaroo Giveaway

We are heading home on Wednesday and I thought I would share with you some photos of the magical hotel I have called home for the last 6 days during my trip to Dubai.  To make this post a little more fun I thought we could play a game and have a giveaway to celebrate this incredible city of Dubai.

If you have been following Learning4kids on Facebook, you would have seen many pictures of our dear friend Rooby Roo the Kangaroo who has come along on this adventure with me to Dubai.  Rooby Roo has visited the tallest building in the world, At the Top, Burj Khalifa, had a ride in a Hot Air Balloon and Safari Desert tour.  He has met the penguins at Ski Dubai and the sharks at Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo.  He is one adventurous kangaroo!

How to play:

It’s not hard to photograph The Palace Downtown Dubai, it is the most exquisite hotel I have ever stayed at.  It is absolutely beautiful everywhere you look!

To play this game you will need to look carefully at all 10 photos of The Palace Downtown Dubai to spot Rooby Roo.  It is a bit like the books ‘Where’s Wally?’ but we are looking for Rooby Roo, ‘Where’s Rooby Roo?’  He is hidden in most of the photos and there are some that he is not in.  For your chance to win an American Tourister Suitcase you need scroll down and leave a comment here on Learning 4 Kids telling us which photos do not ‘star’ Rooby Roo the Kangaroo.

Photo 1:

Location: The Palace Downtown Dubai is perfectly located walking distance to The Dubai Fountains, restaurants and The Dubai Mall.  The Dubai Mall is the largest mall in the world and is also home to the Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo.

This photo was taken in the evening as the hotel staff set up for evening meals.  What a view of the Burj Khalifa!

The hotel swimming pool which I am sure gets a real workout during the hotter summer months.

Something that The Palace Downtown Dubai does really well is making the hotel feel really special with the beautiful décor and water features.  When I first arrived here in Dubai, this water fountain had a large flag made of flowers floating on top of this fountain.  Today it has rose petals carefully placed to form a circle.

The Palace Downtown Dubai features classic Middle Eastern themes and Arabian traditional décor.  You really feel you are experiencing the traditional heritage of the Arabian culture here with the stunning architecture.

Photo 5:

The Palace Downtown Dubai has the most calming and peaceful atmosphere.  With Christmas just around the corner, the hotel staff updated the decorations for Christmas.  The photo really does not do it justice on how stunning all the decorations are.   The culture here in Dubai is so diverse and people from all backgrounds live and visit here every day.

What a grand entrance!  The sheer size of the entry into The Palace Downtown Dubai is nothing short of spectacular.  Beautiful gardens, cobble stone pathways, water fountains and the feature swimming pool greet you every day.

The beautiful gardens and stunning architecture at The Palace Downtown Dubai.  It is a real treat and indulgence to walk around the hotel and through the gardens.
