Hi and welcome to Learning 4 Kids!
My name is Janice and I am an Australian Early Childhood Teacher, Tutor, Mum of 3 and 1 fur baby. Thank you for visiting Learning 4 Kids.
I have a strong passion and love for teaching and creating meaningful learning experiences for my students. What I love most is watching children discover in those amazing light bulb moments. I hope Learning4kids brings you some useful ideas.
The aim of Learning4kids is to create an online resource where parents, educators and teachers can find a useful box of activities and play ideas to do with their children that will also help promote learning and development that are FUN!!
Children love to play. Play is the ‘work’ of children. It is how they express themselves – their ideas about the world, their emotions, their interests and motivations. Great activities and educational toys support this ‘work,’ by encouraging creativity, imagination and learning.
I first started Learning4kids as a stay at home mum nearly 10 years ago as a way to channel some of my frustrated creativity and to satisfy my urge to get back to teaching.
Since then, I have met some wonderful educators, parents and teachers from around the world and I’m privileged to have so many readers visit each month. This blog has now become a part-time work-from-home occupation and have now started an online shop providing quality educational Printable Products.

Due to the number of emails and requests from readers asking where they can purchase some of the educational resources and toys I use in our activities. I felt this was naturally the next step to improving and developing Learning 4 Kids. I will be continuing to share lots of fun activities but there is now the option for readers to purchase their educational toys and resources if they would like to through Learning4kids.

These are some great tips. I believe that education starts at this age first and foremost. I’m a Special Education Teacher and I’m always looking for ways in which I can help my students.
