I have always been a big fan of Bright Star Kids range of Wall Stickers!  They have so many quality products that are fun and creative.

Wall stickers have the ability to turn a plain and boring room into a fun, inviting and bright place to be.  It can be a bedroom, nursery, play room or hallway, the imagination is endless with wall stickers.  I love how wall stickers have the ability to add colour to a room without having to paint it and then get bored with the colour in a few months.

I love to use wall stickers as a way of creating somewhere special for my kids to play, relax and read so when I was approached by Bright Star Kids about reviewing their gorgeous Birdhouse Wall Sticker Set, I knew these wall stickers would be perfect for creating a fun and inviting reading area.

What I love about the Bright Star Birdhouse Wall Stickers is that they are made from fabric and it is a beautiful, quality product.  It is amazing at how easily and effortless it is to peel the stickers off the sheet and apply it to the wall.  If the sticker is not quite positioned right, it easily peels away from the wall without leaving any residue or losing any of its effectiveness to re-stick.  I love the fact that I can re-use the Bright Star Kids Birdhouse Wall Stickers again in a completely different room without damaging the walls or stickers.

  1. I have just started my Family Daycare and would love to brighten up the children’s play area and/or the area set aside in my dining room for arts and craft.
This is a fantastic website and I have been getting some really great ideas, haven’t put any in practice yet, have only been operating since the end of July.
    cheers
    Deanne

  2. i have two kids rooms that we have just started talking about doing. The outer space stickers would go great on the blue feature wall in Master R’s room and when Pork Chop gets her room (currently our room) the Butterfly stickers would match perfectly with the butterfly material i have for curtains. Then i was thinking the polkadots would look so cool in their bathroom. hmmmm so many choices so little walls 🙂

  3. Definitely down stairs, we want to make it more children friendly. Downstairs has no colour thus far. This wall sticker is just beautiful :-))

  4. I’d use them to update my daughters new bedroom she will move into soon when graduating from her cot to a toddler bed (the old room is for the baby to be). Something new, exciting and pretty in there she would love 🙂

  5. Hi, I am in the process (slow process with a 8 month old and 2.5 year old) of doing up our front room in to a great play space. I’m finding so many good ideas I want to use and the birdhouse stickers would be fantastic for it!

  6. I would love to pop these in our play room. I would create a reading corner just like that. As plain white walls & three toy boxes seems a bit dull to my two monkeys.

  7. I would def put them on my daughters wall in her room, she has just gone from toddler bed to single bed and trying to make it a little grown up for a 4 yr old yet still cute and happy so I think it would great above her desk in her room then she could look up and draw them on her desk!

  8. We will be getting a new playroom in the very near future and can just see this on the wall in there! It will look amazing and I know it will make them feel like they are in their own little space … at last! 🙂

  9. I’d love to put this in my little boys room as he is graduating from his cot in our room to his own big boy bed and his own room too! Will brighten it up and maybe if I put it on the wall beside his bed he can gaze at it whilst he falls asleep.

  10. I have a 4yo who is really enjoying ‘reading’ phonics and a 6yo (nature boy) who is struggling with taking reading to the next level so I would use these gorgeous stickers to help turn one end of the playroom into a bright, happy reading/literacy area – by combining these vibrant, inviting colours, some calming music and ever changing themes to read/write/explore hopefully I’ll have a pair of happy little learners!!

  11. It’s so funny that these particular stickers are the ones you did a review on!
My 1 year old is OBSESSED with “Burds” and in the middle of a tantrum we can ask her ‘Where are the birds?” and she will stop to look around!
Commented to my husband last night that over our christmas holidays we will have to FINALLY get around to decorating her room…saw these absolutely gorgeous birdie stickers and fell in love!
She will be so excited going into her room when it is finished, and I can hear her now….”BURDS!”

  12. My sister is going to be a first time Mummmy and I would love to be able to give these beautiful stickers to her as a present to do up the baby’s room.

  13. hi,
i would love to brighten up the family room as one of its corner is used as a playarea n a storytime session too.so its basically family plus playroom.it would be nice to add these stickers from bright star kids to make it more bright and colourful for kids.

  14. We have a small reading nook in our computer/study/spare room that the kiddie winks love to hang out in while we do what it is we as parents do. They read whatever they can get their hands on on ‘our bookshelf’: from the gardening books to the street directories. These awesome stickers would inspire them to stay a little longer and daydream.

  15. Kimberley De Luchi

I would love these to help brighten up my daughters room. We are in a small house and her room is a sleepout style and i have been finding it really hard to brighten it up and make it girly. These would be great

  16. My second son is almost 2 & he is moving in to share a room with his big brother. I love the idea of letting them share a room. His room will then be turned into a little playroom with a reading / quiet corner, busy table & the likes. These wall stickers would just make the playroom!

  17. I have two daughters and have created a play area in the corner of the lounge room. It’s almost their own little room/area and the Bright Star Wall Stickers would definitely complete the transformation

  18. We have been building our reading room, with inspiration from you!! And have a very bare wall that this would look fantastic on! Wow.. our reading corner is for a pink one and a blue one so the tree would be shared by both.

  19. Love to win the wall decals for my classroom. It would brighten up the room and inspire the children..Prep children aged 5 and 6 in a rural school!

  20. My 4 yo son spends hours each day in his playroom (therapy room) doing therapy. He has autism and needs help in learning how to do lots of things that come more naturally to other children – such as talking, being able to look at people, etc). I’m always trying to make his playroom (and his life) as lovely and colourful as possible as I want him to have a wonderful childhood. The beautiful Bird House Wall Sticker would be a lovely feature in his room.

  21. I would love to put the wall stickers in our playroom we have made down in our basement. It would really add a lot to the wall space.

  22. I would put them in my kids’ room. Our house is pretty old and in need of lots of tlc but we’re a long way away from being able to afford a renovation. This would be a simple way of cheering up their room for them!

  23. My kids play room would look absolutely beautiful with the wall stickers! They can’t wait to see it
    having seen the pictures 🙂

  24. Love the idea you showed…. we just bought a new house and i am so glade that I have enough room for kids activity now.. love to decorate and borrow your ideas..

  25. LOVE the designs. These would be perfect to brighten up our toy / kids wardrobe / baby change / breastfeeding room, and help us to welcome home our new baby daughter, born 24 hours ago!

  26. Oooh, my boys’ room really needs work! We moved in 18 months ago and the walls are still blank. In our old house we had beautiful decals but they didn’t peel off very well 🙁 I’m off to check out the site, I really love your ‘READ’ decals. Just what I need for our little book section!

  27. We are trying to get our chalet cleaned out and set up as a play room for our 2 year old girl, it is very daunting process, so the thought of being able to brighten it up with some beautiful stickers would be very motivating.

  28. We’re in the process of making a “Secret Library” in the cupboard space under our stairs. This set would be fabulous in there. I love the material type wall stickers by the way, I find that they last (and look) so much better!

  29. These stickers are just far too gorgeous to be hidden away in a bedroom! I would put them on our loungeroom wall in the nook where the little ones like to play!

  30. I have just moved house and have created a lovely little reading nook under the stairs. I would llove to put these stickers there to brighten up the wall. As we are renters this product would be perfect for us.

  31. this is gorgeous and suits our girls rooms beautifully, I also run a family daycare and i would put the decal either in the “playroom” or i would also love to give it to my little girl who has been such a big help to me with her lil sister whilst her dad has been away.

  32. I would love to brighten up my daughters room because her room is quite plain and she deserves to have a room as bright and beautiful as she is x

  33. I would lover to bring some colour and brightness Into my sons bedroom. We rent our home and have nothing on the walls so some bright wall stickers would bring his room to life 🙂 🙂

  34. Hi
I am an early childhood educator working at a not for profit service, educating 55 children every day…Our babies sleep room is in great need of becoming more inviting and we want to try to promote our natural environment, this would be lovely for the babies to fall asleep looking at this bright wall sticker as well as incorporating some of the outdoors to our inside environment.

  35. I’d love to use them on my newborn son’s room, when it’s finally built! He’s currently sharing his big brother’s room, which also doubles as the guest room (big bro is only with us 3 days a week). So he doesn’t have any place to call his own right at the moment. We are building our ‘real’ house in the country and in about 6 months he will have his very own room – a blank slate! Thanks for the competition. 🙂

  36. I would love to use them in the nursery room of our daycare . I tried to paint a magic tree mural , but not very effectively . They would be so magic to brighten the room.

  37. i would love to brighten up our kids playroom upstairs. at the moment it is a mish-mash of hand-me-down furniture with no personality, and would love the kids to be more engaged in their playtime!

  38. Great Post. My kids love wall decals in their bedrooms. I love that they are simple and easy to apply. They are getting bigger now and I am going to redo their bedrooms into big kid rooms and will be looking for the perfect wall decals to use. Since we are renting I can’t paint the walls, so using wall decals to update the space is the next best option. Thank you!
